Our Vision
|
|
EnviroAge Plastic has a vision with two main objectives. The first is to work along side existing waste management initiatives to
reduce the amount of waste deposited in land-fills. The second is to take waste management one step further
by recycling plastic to provide consumers with a high-quality, environmentally sound alternative to conventional lumber.

Reducing Waste |
|
Prince Edward Island, one of Canada's four Atlantic Provinces, adopted an aggressive approach to preserving its land resources.
Island Waste Management Corporation (IWMC) is the Crown Corporation that
manages the recycling and waste sorting initiatives on PEI. IWMC's goal is to make PEI a national leader in waste reduction.

Benefiting the Environment |
|
EnviroAge Plastic supports provincial waste management initiatives in the collection of plastic products that would normally go to a land-fill site.
Various types and grades
of waste plastic are combined to obtain the perfect mix for plastic lumber decks, boardwalks, bridges, lobster traps, and more.

Lumber Alternative |
|
Presently, the environment is being abused by the clear-cutting of our forests and the leaching of chemicals from treated lumber; land-fill
sites are filling up; and existing conventional lumber structures are rotting away under the elements. EnviroAge
Plastic lumber will not rot, crack, splinter, peel, or chip. It is water-proof, contains no chemical additives, and is made from 100%
recycled plastic materials, making it a recyclable product in the future.
Recycled plastic lumber truly is A Timely Solution.
