EnviroAge Plastic lumber is made from 100% recycled plastic materials capable of serving the residential, commercial, aquacultural, and institutional markets. Plastic lumber, while having many of the same characteristics as conventional lumber, has many additional advantages. It can be sanded, drilled, and nailed, but will not crack or split. Plastic lumber is not affected by insects such as termites. It resists bacteria, mold, and fungus, and does not promote the growth of barnacles, which makes it an excellent choice for docks and underwater use.

	The Process
	EnviroAge Plastic receives plastic waste from land-fill sites, farmers, manufacturing industries, and recycling centres at its facility on Prince Edward Island. The collected plastic is prepared and blended into a composite profile mixture. This composite mixture is then used to produce EnviroAge Plastic lumber.
